Skurio announces expanded partner programme and appointments
Cybersecurity vendor Skurio has reported strong traction as a result of a major expansion of its channel partner programme.
The news follows the release of its recent study that highlights an increase in organisations looking to outsource cybersecurity from the MSP and MSSP community.
The Belfast-based cybersecurity specialist has been developing its channel partner programme over the year in UK and Benelux. It says its initiatives have focused on channel-specific product development, as well as sales and technical support.
To strengthen this programme, Skurio has also announced that MSP heavyweight Adrian Thirkill will join the business as Chairman. Thirkill’s experience, gained from senior roles in Phoenix IT, COLT and Easynet as well as his most recent post as CEO of ICT Service Provider GCI, covers international and domestic expansion and has lead significant technology adoption programmes.
According to Skurio, his international experience will be a major asset to the company’s expansion plans. “As someone who has spent many years in the service provider industry, I know first-hand how important customer trust is. Whilst data breaches can never be entirely eliminated, businesses are measured by the steps they take to reduce risk,” said Thirkill, “Skurio are helping a growing community of service providers to adopt Digital Risk Protection technology for themselves and to use it with their customers - enabling them to innovate with confidence and build their trust further”.
He will be joined by channel specialist, Sophia Anastasi, who will manage the channel partner programme moving forwards. Anastasi brings over a decade of experience in cybersecurity working with software vendors, service providers and distributors, including AlienVault, AT&T Cybersecurity and CMS Distribution.
