Leeds property consultancy, Gent Visick, marketed the site on behalf of an institutional client.

Tony Brewer, CEO at Likewise, said: “Likewise is now one of the key players in the UK flooring market and this latest expansion gives us a high quality distribution centre, in a strategic location, within two hours of a large proportion of our customer base in the North of England.

“Ultimately it will make us even more efficient and further improve the standard of service that our customers enjoy.”

Daniel Walker, from Gent Visick, said: “This unit has been refurbished to an exceptional standard and offered high quality logistics space adjacent to the national motorway network. To agree a deal with a high growth plc such as Likewise, is a fantastic outcome for our client.”
