London steak specialist announces new Marylebone restaurant
A self-taught butcher and restaurateur has announced that his new steak restaurant is set to open in London early next month.
Charlie Carroll, owner of Flat Iron Steaks, will be opening a new branch on James Street in Marylebone on 9 November.
The Flat Iron chain currently includes eight restaurants across London, and specialises in feather blade steaks.
The new restaurant has been designed by Red Deer, with an emphasis on the reuse of found objects, repurposing Yorkshire sand stone sinks and glass roofing tiles within the bar.
Charlie commented: “James Street is a really exciting move for us, especially in such a challenging time.
“We have spent these last few months working on some new specials such as the bone marrow mash and Wagyu beef burger.
“Our mindset hasn’t wavered since we started as a pop-up; great steak for everyone, unparalleled quality and doing a small number of things really well.
“We’re really happy to be bringing this to Marylebone.”
