Engineering consultancy retains ERS Gold Award for Armed Forces support
Eddie Mewies, managing director, M-EC Consulting Development Engineers said:
“M-EC is proud to have retained the Armed Forces Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award, which we’ve held since January 2015. We were the first company in the East Midlands and the first SME in the UK to have achieved the Gold Award back then and now it’s fantastic to have so many more organisations following suit and pledging their support to the Armed Forces.
“As a Gold Award holder, M-EC actively recruits and supports Reservists, spouses and ex-military personnel and we’re proud to promote the work of the Defence community to both our staff and clients.
“We feel it is our duty to support the Armed Forces in whatever way we can and we’ve found there are transferable skills that can benefit both our business and the Reservists, Veterans and Cadet Volunteers we’ve employed over the years.”
