Yorkshire flooring company lays foundation for future with £100k investment
A Yorkshire flooring company has announced that it is investing more than £100k in a new brand and order management system.
Stories Flooring, based in Leeds, has experienced a 45 per cent sales increase during lockdown, leading to the creation of new jobs and prompting the investment.
They also reported a 63 per cent increase between February and August as more people searched for improvements they could make.
Yarl Christie, founder of Stories Flooring, commented: ’’After seeing sales increase over summer, we felt it was the right time to create a brand that reflects more around who we are and what we stand for.
“Stories Flooring will focus on the homeowners telling a story with their homes and the perfect flooring is the finishing touch.
“Of course, we know we’re very lucky to be an industry that can continue to flourish and we’re constantly considering ways we can support smaller businesses during this difficult time.’’
