Tees Advanced Manufacturing Park – TeesAMP – marks a new dawn for advanced manufacturing in the North East.

TeesAMP offers a dynamic base for like-minded manufacturing and technology firms to push forward with the latest advancements the sector has to offer, in a modern and vibrant setting.

The 180,000 square foot development features high specification buildings for manufacturing and research and development facilities. Units range from 3,000 square foot to 30,000 square foot, with each one meticulously designed to meet the needs of businesses.

The site boasts an impressive layout, with landscaped areas and extensive car parking. Specification attributes include; spacious yard areas with HGV turning circles, eaves heights from 7m – 9m, floor loadings between 25KN/m2 – 50KN/m2, estate monitored CCTV and substantial power provision.

Middlesbrough-based developer Chaloner Group has ensured the whole site has been designed and built using sustainable methods and materials.

TeesAMP is located by the River Tees and has excellent rail and road transport links to the rest of the UK. Two international airports are within an hour’s drive, and the Port of Middlesbrough is located close by and is one of the best-connected ports in the North of England.

Teesside has a highly skilled workforce and the area has well-established research, development and training facilities which could help your business and team to reach new heights.

So far, interest in the park has attracted significant attention from the sector, both domestically and internationally.

Durata UK were one of the first to announce a move to TeesAMP. Specialists in critical power infrastructure, they confirmed their commitment in autumn which was quickly followed by leading engineering giants Sulzer Chemtec, who will strengthen their column and tower services from their new base in Middlesbrough. Engineering and training firm TWI are also based out of the park.

Phase Two of the TeesAMP development will commence in 2021, offering flexible building opportunities for businesses seeking a bespoke build. TeesAMP has been developed by Chaloner Group in partnership with Middlesbrough Council, Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA) and the SSI Taskforce.
