Expansion plans and board changes for Northumberland Wealth Management company celebrating its 15th year.

A Northumberland Wealth Management company is celebrating 15 years in business with a name change and big expansion plans.

The Morpeth Practice has now become TMP Wealth Management and at the same time welcomed 3 new directors onto the board.

The business founded by Peter Grieves and James Richfield manages assets in excess of £275 million pounds on behalf of over 1500 clients. They currently employ more than 20 staff but have no plans to leave their Appleby House base close to the entrance of Morpeth’s Carlisle Park.

Mr Richfield said “Our business began in Morpeth, and we’re proud of that, but we now extend beyond Northumberland across the UK and internationally. We have clients in Europe and the Middle East. Our telephone number is also only one digit away from the local doctors surgery and sometimes callers get the wrong “practice”. We can help with finances but not fungal nail infections”

The name TMP Wealth Management is designed to create that link between the 15 year growth from the foundations of the business to an exciting and fresh new brand for the future.

Current advisors Gary Oselton, Glenn Bolton and Dan Smith are also elevated to board level bringing more than 60 years of wealth management experience with them.

Peter Grieves said “We are really pleased with the way all three have developed over the last few years. They bring energy, enthusiasm and a much broader range of opinions to the board. It will be great to have differing views on the same objectives. We go into the next 15 years in a really strong position.
