Accountants raise money and food for Durham Food Bank
Staff at Chester le Street-based accountants and business advisors Robson Laidler have donated £100 and collected 14.5kg of food items for the Durham Christian Partnership, County Durham Food Bank.
Robson Laidler staff along with their family and friends donated the goods and raised money via asking clients which charity they would like the firm to donate money to as part of its annual Christmas giving campaign, where instead of sending cards, money is given to charity instead.
Pam Allon office manager at Robson Laidler Durham said: “Well done to our staff and clients who have helped us to raise such a wonderful amount of money to a great local cause right on our doorstep. Our purpose is to make a positive difference to people’s lives and supporting our local community is therefore one of our reasons for being and makes us all proud.”
