Mark Gay, Ebiquity

Media and marketing consultancy Ebiquity has announced the appointment of Mark Gay as its new chief client officer.

Mark has been with the Ebiquity Group since 2012, most recently serving as a global client partner to some of our biggest clients.

In this role, he will be responsible for leading the company’s global client service teams.

Nick Waters, Ebiquity group CEO, commented: “Mark has an excellent track record within the company, has achieved trusted advisor status with his clients, and has a great depth of knowledge of the global media market.

“He will lead the agenda to create higher value relationships with more of our major multinational clients.

Baroness Lola Young, Bloomsbury Publishing

Bloomsbury Publishing has announced the appointment of Baroness Lola Young to its board as a non-executive director.

She will sit on the nomination committee of the board, which has oversight of the company’s diversity and inclusion strategy.

Baroness Young is a former actor, professor of cultural studies, and head of culture at the Greater London Authority.

She has also served on the boards of several national cultural organisations including the National Theatre and the Southbank Centre, as well serving as a commissioner for Historic England.

Nigel Newton, chief executive of Bloomsbury, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Lola Young to the board of directors of Bloomsbury.

“I first met her when she was the chair of the judges of The Man Booker Prize in 2017 and became aware then of her extensive work on social issues in the House of Lords, as an academic, and in literary matters through her roles as Chair of both The Orange Prize and The Booker Prize.

“This rich experience makes her the perfect appointment to the board of Bloomsbury because we are convinced that increased focus on social issues will help support our publishing and financial goals. I look forward very much to working with her.”

Tom Moore, Yourkeys

Yourkeys has appointed Tom Moore as account manager as the new homes sales to reservation platform continues its expansion.

Tom joins with experience in proptech, commercial property and estate agency. In his new role he will work with Yourkeys clients to ensure they use the software to its full potential.

He previously worked for Nested.com when it was a proptech start-up. He moved into the commercial office sector with Kitt, having begun his career in estate agency in London with Fraser and Co.

Tom said: “This is an exciting time to join Yourkeys. It’s a strong product and customers love it.

“My aim is to ensure we are aligned with our clients’ strategic objectives. For many this will be focused on shorter exchange times, and there are many steps towards achieving this which Yourkeys can facilitate.

“Automating and simplifying processes through Yourkeys enables our clients to speed up transactions. Our integrations with mortgage brokers, conveyancers and even CRM platforms create a seamless experience and ultimately, this leads to happier homebuyers.

“Speaking to clients, I’ve been focusing on how we can help them to achieve a step-change in their customers’ experience of buying a new home.”

Rob van Leeuwen, eEnergy Group

eEnergy Group has announced the appointment of Rob van Leeuwen as chief operating officer.

As part of his role, Rob will oversee the integration of the Beond Group, which was acquired by eEnergy this month.

Rob was previously COO for EnergyQuote JHA, and before that worked as group operations manager for a Pan-African logistics and commodities business.

“He is well-known within the UK and global energy markets.

Abhirukt Sapru, Snowplow

Behavioural data management platform Snowplow has announced that it has appointed Abhirukt Sapru as vice president of sales.

As VP of sales, Abhirukt will lead the Snowplow team in establishing and driving its global go-to-market strategy to provide data teams around the world with the capabilities to collect and operationalise behavioral data.

Snowplow CEO and co-founder Alex Dean commented: “ With Abhirukt’s experience in growing businesses and driving sales, we’re excited to help more companies unlock their behavioral data and use it in more meaningful ways.“
