North East flooring brand invests £300k in expansion with new Yorkshire stores
A North East flooring retailer has announced that it is investing £300k in expansion as it opens two new Yorkshire stores.
Flooring Superstore, which is headquartered in Bishop Auckland, has opened new locations in Huddersfield and Doncaster, creating six jobs and representing an investment of £300k.
The new stores bring the total number of Flooring Superstores in the UK to 25, which the company says makes it one of the fastest growing retailers in the country.
Grieg Anderson, Flooring Superstore’s regional manager said: “Our plan is to open stores in large conurbations and Huddersfield and Doncaster certainly fit the bill.
“We’re delighted to have been able to open stores in two busy retail area areas with so much footfall.
“We’re also looking forward to making our own contribution towards supporting the local retail economy which, after last year, has never been more important.”
