80 jobs to be created with launch of £2.9m Hull nursing home
The launch of a new £2.9m nursing care home is set to create around 80 jobs in Hull.
Marmaduke, Exemplar Health Care’s newest specialist nursing care home in Yorkshire, is slated to open in May following a £2.9m investment.
The home will support 18 adults who live with complex mental and physical health conditions, including dementia, and brain injuries.
Katie Capes, home manager from Exemplar Health Care’s Marmaduke, commented: “I’m delighted to be opening Exemplar Health Care’s second care home in Hull – and to be providing over 80 jobs for the local area.
“Every one of our high-quality care homes provides supportive, welcoming, community-based services which help our residents reach their goals.
“Supporting complex care residents can be extremely rewarding, and Exemplar Health Care is already offering stable and secure careers to more than 3,200 people.
“It is extremely rewarding to be able to support 18 local people with complex health needs, and to provide over 80 stable and local jobs.
“From nurses to carers, chefs and cleaners, we are hoping to find new staff members to support us in our efforts to provide high-quality care for all of our residents.”
