Conjura makes two non-executive director appointments from online retail and technology sectors to support its ambitious growth strategy
Ecommerce data specialist Conjura has appointed Adele Cooper, ex Pinterest, Facebook and Google and Paul Gedman, ex Hut Group, as non-executive directors to support the business as it continues to scale. Their strategic vision will help define the company’s 2021 growth strategy.
Adele Cooper has worked at some of the world’s most recognised technology companies, most recently as UK & Ireland Country Manager at Pinterest. Prior to Pinterest, Adele worked at Google and then at Facebook in both their European and US headquarters, across a variety of sales, marketing and operational roles. Adele earned an MBA from Harvard University and holds a BA in History from Stanford University.
She brings specialist expertise in sales and marketing built during her time at the world’s leading tech platforms and will assist Conjura in scaling up its sales and marketing functions. Adele will also support on HR matters helping to develop a talent acquisition strategy as well as providing operational advice.
Paul Gedman will help Conjura evolve and extend its e-commerce platform services building scalability into the heart of the business. He offers a wealth of experience in the global e-commerce sector by way of his time as CEO of the beauty, wellness and luxury divisions at the Hut Group for over eight years. Before that, Paul was Head of Online at Littlewoods Clearance, part of the Shop Direct Group.
Conjura has experienced fast-growth in 2020 as more businesses have needed to scale up, or pivot to data-led ecommerce models. These latest appointments complement other recent senior hires, including the arrival of COO Paul Savage, and CRO Franklyn Martin and highlight the company’s ambitious growth plans to bring best in class platform services to its clients.
