New Innovative Hand Sanitising Units Improving Workplace Hygiene up and Down the UK
Hand sanitiser is no stranger to us in recent months and looks to be a part of our future for some time to come.
East Yorkshire based company, iGrowing is a leader in the hand sanitiser station market thanks to their innovative Steriloc product which was developed with the assistance of £48k funding from Innovate UK. Their contactless anti-virus hand sanitising systems provides an effective, economical, efficient, and safe system for hand cleansing in every type of workplace, school, or venue.
They key strength of Steriloc is the system’s ability to link to entry mechanisms such as automatic doors, gates, or turnstiles, ensuring that entrants cleanse their hands properly before entering, reducing the risk of cross contamination.
The Steriloc units can be attached to free standing pedestals or wall mounted and can be used with the extensive range of sanitising liquids available on the market.
Available for both purchase and rent, Steriloc units are perfect for factories, office buildings, railway stations, construction sites, schools, and other high traffic areas.
After launch, iGrowing worked closely with Innovate UK EDGE leading delivery partner, RTC North in order to get advice on internal processes. Whilst deciding where to focus their efforts and which barrier to tackle first, the company worked closely with Innovation and Growth Specialists Simon and Gail and developed a plan to optimise product sales. Exports are a big part of their sales strategy and iGrowing are now seeking overseas partners through the Enterprise Europe platform which provides links to over 65 countries around the world.
As efforts to keep COVID-19 at bay rise across the country, we could soon see these introduced in the stores and public places that we regularly visit. Hopefully, a step in the right direction for our country in our battle against the virus.
