West Yorkshire based chartered quantity surveyors appoint new director

Pontefract based Quantum CPM (Cost & Project Management), which provides quantity surveying and project management services to the construction and industrial sectors, has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of a new director.

Lee Williamson takes up the post at Quantum CPM to expand the company’s specialist support for construction contractors and sub-contractors involved in all kinds of projects, ranging from new build, refurbishment and shopfitting to mining and those in the rail industry.

As a RICS chartered surveyor, Lee will provide professional quantity surveying services to clients ranging from estimating through to full commercial management of a contract. He has a particular expertise in claims advice and works with businesses of all sizes from sole traders to businesses up to a £10m turnover.

Lee brings over 20 years’ experience to Quantum CPM, during which has worked with contractors undertaking major projects for clients including Network Rail, Sirius Minerals, the NHS, West Yorkshire Police, the MOD and Land Securities. He has worked nationally and internationally, including five years in Australia working on railway schemes and in mining, for the country’s largest privately owned contractor BGC Contracting – now NRW.

His appointment supports the growth plans of Quantum CPM who have been operating from their Pontefract base for more than 20 years. The expansion of the company’s client base reflects its strategy to make its specialist cost and project management services accessible and affordable to all types of contractor and sub-contractor.
