2,000 jobs set to be created as London professional services firm launches recruitment drive

A London professional services firm has today announced that it is aiming to create 2,000 new jobs across the globe.

FDM Group has announced that it intends to hire more than 2,000 new IT trainees across the world as part of a “major” recruitment drive.

The company announced the plans following a surge in demands for its consultants.

It is estimated that around one third of the new hires will be in the UK, with the remaining being split across FDM’s other major offices in the US and APAC regions.

The company has also announced further investment in its diversity initiatives, pledging to recruit even more candidates from Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) backgrounds.

Rod Flavell, CEO of FDM Group, commented: “The Covid-19 outbreak sent shockwaves through the global business community, forcing many employers to scale back operations and shift to a remote working model to adhere to social distancing rules.

“One year on, with the vaccine programme in full swing and infection rates declining, businesses are raring to go, with plans to build back better and drive a major economic recovery.
