International cleantech raises $3.3m for UK offices in London funding round
An international cleantech business has announced that it has raised $3.3m in a London-led funding round.
Airly Inc has raised the funds in an investment round led by firstminute capital, an early-stage venture fund based in London.
The funding will be used to scale its AI-powered air quality platform, opening new Western offices and hiring new staff.
The company has said that it will be doubling its headcount will the creation of its new UK and US offices.
Wiktor Warchałowski, Airly CEO and co-founder, commented: “Polluted air is a plague on our health - it’s like a pandemic in slow motion.
“Improving air quality needs to be at the core of the world’s post-pandemic rebuild and Airly is the first step to pollution-free cities.
“With this funding, we can expand our global footprint to support even more cities, enterprises and communities to repair the air and empower them with data and actionable insights.”
