A Feast Lies Ahead for North West Hospitality Consultant and Event Planner, Liz Taylor
There’s a feast of culinary activity being planned by Liz Taylor, managing director of Liz Taylor Consultancy, as the leading Manchester event professional and brand consultant has been appointed to work alongside the directors of luxury kosher catering business, Feast.
The brainchild of chef Ed Shaerf, north-west based Feast brings fine restaurant dining to outside events, private dinners, weddings and Bar & Bat Mitzvahs right across the country. He offers an impressive track record, having worked with some of the best chefs in the UK including Gordon Ramsay and Simon Rogan. Ed owned his own restaurant for three years, working alongside culinary consultant David Moore of the Michelin star awarded Pied-à-Terre. He also enjoyed roles at prestigious, award-winning restaurants such as The Ivy in London, The Fat Duck and Claridges, before moving to the north-west and taking up the position as head chef for leading Kosher caterer, Celia Clyne.
The Feast company ethos is to provide exceptional kosher food and service that pushes the boundaries of quality, creativity and style. This is where hospitality consultant Liz Taylor will focus her time. She explains: “I have been a leading event planner for 35 years and my philosophy has always been: you feast with your eyes. Presentation that brings drama or theatre to the plate is a huge ingredient in a successful event. My creative eye and understanding of what the kosher market will embrace, is just one of the elements I am adding to the Feast menu.”
Liz adds: “We are currently working with a number of hospitality and lifestyle brands that all want to develop the discerning market for their business. My substantial experience and knowledge of this sector will be used to help develop Feast’s marketing, product and brand development. Exciting plans are already in motion, so that Feast will be well placed to capitalise on the re-opening of the event sector this summer.”
