Sustainable hair salon "over the moon" to open new branch in Greenwich

A sustainable hair salon has announced that it will be opening a new London branch as the country emerges from lockdown.

Blue Tit, which has ten salons across the capital, is launching a site in Greenwich, set to open on April 12.

The brand is focused on sustainability, and reported that it offset 110 per cent of its yearly carbon emissions in 2019.

The new space is inspired by its neighbourhood with a design using only organic materials, and will feature drinks from London independent brewery Five Points Brewing Co.

Lee Beever, partner at Blue Tit Greenwich, commented: “I am super proud of what we have achieved together, it was my ambition to create a salon not only for our staff to enjoy but our clients to come and feel at home while getting pampered in style and I cannot wait to open these doors and share it with everyone.”

Andi Hinteregger, Blue Tit’s co-founder, said: “We are very happy to be opening Blue Tit Greenwich with Lee.

“It’s not been the easiest year for our industry, our team and our clients but we are over the moon to continue Blue Tit’s growth and bring our latest salon to the area, a place we all love.”
