Leeds gas distributor announces two new depots in expansion drive
A Leeds gas distributor has announced that it is increasing the amount of locations it has by a third as it opens two new depots.
innergy Group, a bottled gas distributor has opened two new depots despite the pandemic, taking its total locations to six across the North of England.
It has also awarded a new security contract to multi-service provider Servo Group to cover all security provisions for Innergy’s Gelderd Road head office.
As well as this, the company has donated money and building materials to a local charity which supports the vulnerable in Leeds, as it builds the city’s first container home project for the homeless.
Gez Walsh, managing director of innergy Group, said: “Vulnerable Citizen Support is doing some amazing work throughout Leeds to alleviate poverty and hardship and try and find a new pathway to help the homelessness crisis.
“At innergy, we are dedicated to giving back to our community and we’re delighted to have been able to support a home-grown charity which is making such a vital difference to people’s lives.”
Chris Turner from Servo Group said: “We’re delighted to have been awarded innergy’s security contract and to be playing such an instrumental part in their growth. They have also forged a great alliance with one of our charity partners, Vulnerable Citizen Support, and innergy’s support has been vital in supporting the homeless and vulnerable in the city.”
