Newcastle finance boutique plans next phase of growth with city centre move

A Newcastle corporate finance boutique has announced that it is moving into new offices in the city centre.

WilliamsAli Corporate Finance has said that the new offices, at The Pearl in Newcastle, will help it head into its next phase of growth.

The new base, in the city centre building which overlooks Northumberland Street and Grey’s Monument, will accommodate the firm’s ongoing expansion, with the founders calling it a “statement of intent”.

Phil Williams, co-founder, commented: “For strong businesses, we see 2021 as the year to be bold. That’s what we’re telling our clients and that’s what we plan to do ourselves.

“While there remain parts of the market where economic conditions will continue to be challenging, there are investors with significant cash to invest in businesses and sectors which can see huge opportunities ahead.

“Throughout the past year, during some of the most difficult times in living memory, we’ve supported many clients who, like us, remain ambitious and continue to grow.

“There is a lot of pent-up demand, and not just from consumers keen to get back to normal. There is a thirst from entrepreneurs and business owners to make up for lost time and get on with their plans.

“We see the North East economy as a coiled spring and we too are ready for action.”

Abu Ali, also co-founder, said: “We are working with clients throughout the region in realising their ambitions and potential, and as entrepreneurs ourselves, who have successfully navigated our own business through the pandemic, we are ideally placed to support others in their strategy and future plans.

“By moving into our new premises in The Pearl, we are making a big statement about our ambition - this is a prime site which can accommodate our ongoing growth, and we are investing in our team and our business to equip us for the future.”
