Leeds-based software developer flies the Northern tech industry flag following a momentous 12 months

Despite a challenging 12 months for businesses across the country, high-tech data analytics and business intelligence (BI) software developer, Panintelligence, is flying the flag for the Northern tech industry, following a momentous 12 months of contract wins and community engagement initiatives.

A shining star in the rapidly growing Northern tech scene, Leeds-based Panintelligence has fought back against the pandemic to remain profitable and in growth, as well as help make the tech industry a more inclusive and diverse place.

In just the last twelve months, Panintelligence, which expanded to Boston, Massachusetts in 2019 has won a record 23 new contracts for SaaS vendors both in the UK and internationally, to supply its cornerstone ‘pi’ software. Pi is an off-the-shelf product with 200,000 users worldwide, which combines business intelligence reporting and predictive analytics in self-service dashboards.

The latest wins include Lead Forensics, the global provider of B2B website visitor identification and lead generation software, which is using Panintelligence’s software to transform the way its customers can access, analyse and interpret data to help turbo-charge their lead generation, and Irish computer vision applications developer, EVERYANGLE, which has adapted its retail footfall monitoring software to enable supermarkets and other retailers to monitor and control social distancing in their stores.

“The SaaS industry has seen a massive rise in demand during the pandemic,” explains Zandra Moore, CEO of Panintelligence. “We’ve been able to respond to this increase by helping SaaS vendors to unlock the value of the data held within their platforms and give their customers real-time analytics. Ultimately, we’re putting the data in the hands of those who need it, in a way that they can use it to inform the decisions they make. This has never been more important than it is now.”

Aside from achieving huge growth and securing major customers, Panintelligence has seen its tech for good initiatives grow throughout 2020 and into 2021.

Lean in Leeds, a networking group exclusively for women created by Panintelligence’s Zandra Moore now boasts more than 800 members. The group’s goal is to provide opportunities for young girls and women, as well as encourage diversity and female leadership. Panintelligence’s No Code Lab, which providing opportunities for people who want to forge a career in technology but do not possess any qualifications or direct experience, has grown too. More than 15 companies and 500 people now take part.

Zandra said: “Diversity and tech for good are at the heart of everything Panintelligence does. We want to make a real and tangible difference to the UK and Northern tech industries, and create opportunities for everyone in society regardless of their background or circumstances. To have achieved this while the country is in the grip of a pandemic is an accomplishment to be proud of, and we are excited to see the No Code revolution continue.”
