Chicken wing restaurant chain orders up new sites around the capital

A chicken wing chain has announced plans to expand with seven new sites across London and beyond.

WingShack Co, founded in 2017, started off in Loughton and has since opened locations at Camden’s The Good Mixer and on Selfridges & Co’s 4th floor, as well as operating delivery kitchens in Clerkenwell, Canary Wharf and Battersea.

It now plans to break new ground around the capital in Brixton, Bromley, Finchley, Camden and Soho, all by the end of 2021.

Plans to cut the ribbon on new restaurants in Manchester and St Albans, also by the end of the year, mark Wingshack Co’s goal for further expansion around the country.

Josh Jarvis, one of the restaurant’s founders, said: “It’s been a crazy year for everyone, but I really believe it’s been a year of opportunity for us.

“We’ve managed to remain positive throughout and so many great opportunities have arisen for us to expand our business quicker than we could’ve imagined.

“We are extremely confident about our brand and can’t wait to open our planned stores so more people can have that Wing Shack experience.

“I am especially excited about our site in Brixton as my business partner is from Brixton and grew up there, which gives it an authentically local touch.”

Details on specific locations of the new sites will be forthcoming.
