Missguided engages cloud computing specialists Steamhaus
Cloud and Devops consultancy Steamhaus has been appointed by online retailer Missguided to provide active technical support and consultancy. Steamhaus will work closely alongside Missguided’s IT teams to improve the performance, and maintain the stability, of its digital platforms – while also providing 24/7 support.
The partnership will see Steamhaus advise and assist on the latest industry innovations, helping Missguided to remain at the forefront of cloud computing developments. As part of this arrangement, Steamhaus has embarked on an optimisation project that will maximise Missguided’s technology investments, helping the business operate as efficiently as possible.
Steamhaus’ specific expertise in Magento and AWS – along with its status as an Advanced AWS Consulting Partner and an AWS Well Architected Partner – was a key factor in the decision to form a strategic partnership.
David Pollitt, head of IT operations at Missguided, said: ’’Steamhaus have a highly knowledgeable and incredibly proactive team that is constantly seeking ways to improve the way things work. This has already had a positive impact on Missguided, by providing both inspiration and reassurance to our internal teams.
“We have been lucky to find a partner able to provide this level of expertise and service, and they are right on our doorstep in Manchester. They are the perfect fit for Missguided.’’ Rob Greenwood, chief technical officer at Steamhaus added, ’‘Online retailers like Missguided have helped turn Manchester an ecommerce powerhouse. We’re fortunate enough to work with several of these pioneering businesses, helping them to innovate and take advantage of the latest developments in cloud computing.
“This partnership will allow us to act as an extension of Missguided’s team. We’ll be able to get under the skin of the business and proactively support their current needs and future aspirations.’’
