E-commerce startup set to create jobs with North Tyneside office expansion

A North East e-commerce business is set for expansion as it prepares to relocate to a new base.

SaaS startup Shoptimised is preparing to launch its new office at Silverlink Business Park in Wallsend to accommodate planned growth of its team.

The company, which was founded in February 2018, plans to create up to 20 new jobs as part of its ongoing expansion, and is on track to double its turnover to £2m in 2021.

Shoptimised works with a range of e-commerce brands and PPC agencies offering Product Feed Management Software that offers full control over a brand’s Google Shopping campaigns, with existing clients including Schuh, Croud, Moonpig, and TwentySix.

Co-founder and director of Shoptimised, John Cave, commented: “After working from home for a year, it’s clear there are positives and drawbacks to working in isolation.

“The move to our new office will offer everyone the option to come to the office when the job requires them to work more collaboratively with the wider Shoptimised team, while keeping the option of home working where it fits better around their family and lifestyle.

“Although we are sad to leave our old office, we’re excited for the move and we’re looking forward to having the team under one roof when they all feel ready to do so.

“The beer fridge is stocked, and the whiteboards need filling with new ideas. There are also members of our team that I am looking forward to meeting in person for the first time.”
