Leeds beauty clinic opens second site as demand goes "through the roof"

A Yorkshire beauty clinic has announced that it is expanding with the opening of a second site.

Amica Aesthetics, based in Cleckheaton, is opening up a second clinic this week in North Leeds, spanning two floors on Street Lane.

The new store is creating five jobs in the area, and will provide a range of dermatology treatments and services, including anti-ageing injectables, laser hair removal, skin peels and fat dissolving treatments.

The company said that demand for facial treatments went “through the roof” following the country’s lockdown.

Claire Raby, founder of Amica Aesthetics, said, “The demand for bookings has been unreal! We are already fully booked for the first few weeks as both clinics.

“It’s such an exciting time for my team and I as we continue to grow and expand our services across Leeds.

“We planned to open clinic number two in late 2019 but due to the Covid pandemic our plans were forced to grind to halt.

“However, it gave us time to find the perfect location and time to invest in new ground-breaking technology and treatments.

“As a result of the pandemic and the popularity of Zoom and virtual meetings people have become more aware of their facial features and how they look. As a result of this we have seen an enormous rise in demand for cosmetic procedures.

“My short-term goal is to open a clinic in every town and city in Yorkshire with the ultimate aim being to roll out nationally.”
