Chocks Away! Digicomm 360 take to the skies for Lagan’s Foundation

The team at a Bolton business are preparing to take on the challenge of a lifetime and tick one off the bucket list to raise much needed funds for their company charity.
IT and Telecoms provider Digicomm 360, based on Halliwell Road, is gearing up to join Lagan’s Foundation Charity Skydive Team, making a massive jump - and taking a huge leap of faith. Managing Director Mark Pollitt explains more: “It’s a key part of our ethos at Digicomm to give something back to the wider community, so every year we pledge our support to several local charities, with staff dedicating their own time to raise funds. “We’ve supported Lagan’s Foundation for many years and have a strong affiliation to this wonderful charity. We are aware that it’s been a tough time for charities across the country and we are determined to do our bit to help. Mark will be joined on the jump by Digicomm Engineers Tom Hyde and Warren Hardman. The three will take on the challenge from the Black Knights jump centre at Cockerham, Lancashire, where they will be cheered on by family and other members of the Digicomm team.

Digicomm 360 helps businesses communicate by providing the best outsourced telecoms and IT solutions based in the North West and delivering across the UK. With over 100 years collective expertise, backed up with experience and award wins, the business fully understands how effective communications can help an organisation thrive. Clients include Bolton Arena, Age UK Salford and People Matters HR. The business has thrived during the Coronavirus pandemic, as businesses have been forced to switch to homeworking, something that many were simply not geared up to do. Managing Director Mark Pollitt continued: “We’ll be donning our Biggles goggles and preening our moustaches and making our way to Black Knights jump centre at Cockerham in Lancashire in June. For all of us, it will be our first Skydive and it’s fair to say we’re feeling a mixture of both nervous anticipation and excitement. “At Digicomm, we work as an extension of our client’s businesses, and it’s our role to not only ensure that that can operate effectively during these difficult times - but that they continue to grow and thrive. Several of our clients are charities and we understand that support comes in many forms – from suppling highly effective communications solutions – to jumping out of planes! “Put simply, we free our customers of the pressure of understanding IT and telecoms, leaving them confident in the knowledge that their essential systems function just as they need them to – which is more important now than ever.”
