New 150-home Leeds development set to create 120 jobs as planning approval granted
Planning approval has been granted for a new 150 home development in Leeds set to create 120 jobs.
Avant Homes announced today that it has received planning approval from Leeds City Council for a £49.3m development in Micklefield.
The development, named Radford’s Meadow, will bring 150 new-build homes to the area, creating 120 jobs across construction and sales.
Radford’s Meadow, which is located on a 14-acre site on Micklefield’s Church Lane between Leeds and Pontefract, is set to see the first homes expected to be completed by this autumn.
Chris Coley, managing director of Avant Homes Yorkshire, commented: “Micklefield is a very appealing location, just six miles east of Leeds city centre, so we’re pleased to have received planning permission and now look forward to moving ahead with our plans.
“Initial groundworks are expected to get underway at Radford’s Meadow in a matter of weeks before we reveal the first homes for sale in June.”
