Significant investment puts Yorkshire-based IT firm on cloud nine

  • Rabb-IT celebrates 10 years in business with investment deal
  • Local firm plans to recruit, restructure and react to the evolving IT industry

Rabb-IT, a Leeds-based IT solutions specialist founded in 2011 has secured a significant investment from Yorkshire-based IT entrepreneur, Dave Helm to support the firm with its ambitious growth plans to expand its expertise and create new roles in the IT industry.

Joining forces with Rabb-IT, Dave Helm has over 24 years’ experience in the IT technology sector and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and insights from his involvement in past and present investments and partnerships in the IT sector. His expertise will be used to strategically restructure the business for scale and growth, support a dedicated recruitment drive providing opportunities for young professionals and open doors to new and emerging markets.

Despite the pandemic, Rabb-IT will grow its workforce by 50% in 2021 with expectations to double this again with the investment. The latest recruits include an engineer and an apprentice who will help manage the increase in workload due to the rise in IT support needed as companies adapt to new hybrid working models. A marketing coordinator and senior engineer will shortly be added to bolster the team and prepare for the ambitious expansion plans.

With a shared ethos for customer satisfaction and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, the partnership between Rabb-IT and Mr Helm will very much focus on this crucial aspect, underpinning its offering as a professional managed service provider.

Founder of Rabb-IT, Steve Rabbitt said, “we’ve grown organically for the last 10 years with a solid and stable base of loyal clients. Our aim now is to expand our services, tap into new markets to support even more businesses in the region whilst providing jobs in an increasingly popular and thriving industry. With Dave on board, by 2031, we plan to reach 400 clients in varying sectors and create 80 jobs in the region.”

Dave Helm added, “I am really looking forward to joining forces with Steve and his team, who have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic to ensure their clients IT infrastructure is seamless to maintain productivity levels - something many companies have struggled with. Working together our goal is to scale up the business, develop and deliver cutting-edge IT technology that will safeguard and support the growth of local and national businesses and create a host of new job opportunities in the industry.”
