London records manager secures nearly £2m funding for acquisition
An independent records management service has announced that it is making a new acquisition after receiving nearly £2m of funding.
Secure Data Management, based in London, has secured £1.9m of acquisition funding from alternative lender ThinCats to acquire The Chatham Archive & Document Storage Company.
Secure Data Management, which operates five storage sites, specialises in providing offsite storage services to brands including professional services firms, public sector organisations, charities and other corporates.
Marc Chauveau, CEO of Secure Data Management, commented: “Our whole team pride themselves on the quality of service that we provide to clients, and as one of the last independent players in the market we are known for our speed and responsiveness.
“Securing this acquisition funding allows us to extend the reach of our services and offer out the benefit of our experience to a much wider client base.”
Stuart Thompson, director of regional business development at ThinCats: “Secure document storage continues to be incredibly important for a range of businesses and organisations, and the team at Secure Data Management have 25 years of experience in providing a well-respected service.
“This acquisition puts the business in a great position for the future, with storage facilities strategically placed to serve clients throughout the south of the country.”
