Pizza restaurant cooks up plans for new site at Wandsworth brewery
A London pizza restaurant has announced that it will launch its second site this summer at a Wandsworth brewery.
Crust Bros, which has a venue in Waterloo, has confirmed that it will launch its second site at Sambrook’s Brewery Tap.
The brewery, which is part of the Ram Quarter development in Wandsworth, will see the pizza brand join it when it opens this July.
Crust Bros will be the sole food supplier at Sambrook’s, which moved its headquarters and brewing operations to the Wandsworth site earlier this year.
Joe Moore, founder of Crust Bros, commented: “Sambrook’s approached us back in 2020 and within five minutes of seeing their new Ram Quarter site I knew that this was a match made in heaven.
“What really sealed the deal was team Sambrook’s love for the project, their passion for their own beer and, beyond that, their determination that this will be London’s most exciting venue – where amazing beer meets unbelievable pizza and knockout hospitality.
“We are so excited to welcome our first guests in July 2021 and hope this will be the first of many ventures together!”
Kieran Monteiro, chief marketing officer at Sambrook’s Pub Company, said: “When we were planning the Sambrook’s Brewery Tap, we quickly decided that there is no greater combination than beer and pizza so we had to find a partner who cares about great pizza as much as we care about great beer!
“As soon as we tried Crust Bros we knew that we had found exactly what we were looking for and that we had to make Sambrook’s X Crust Bros happen.
“We are proud to serve our beer with Crust Bros pizza, we are delighted that our paths crossed to form this team and we cannot wait to show you what we’ve been working on when we open later this summer.”
