London ecommerce marketplace reveals Indian expansion with plans for three new offices
A London ecommerce marketplace has announced that it is launching a new division in India.
Aisle 3, which aims to fix the current ‘fragmented’ shopping experience, has announced the launch of a new division in India as it continues with its ongoing expansion.
Initially based in Ahmedabad, the business expects to open up to three new offices across the country in the next year as the team adapts to the ‘new normal’ of remote working.
The company said that the launch in India means that it can show its commitment to the team, offering them the same personal security as a full-time employee.
Thomas J. Vosper, co-founder of Aisle 3, commented: “In less than a year the team has built a web crawler that discovers products, uses AI to transform and enrich product data alongside neutral networks to aggregate products and place a ‘personal shopper in your pocket’.
“They are all excited by the big challenges we are tackling. I’m really excited to see how the business and team scales over the next 12 months.”
