Ideal Heating Launch Interactive Property Size Map
Leading boiler manufacturer Ideal Heating have launched an interactive property map to explore average property sizes across the UK.
The housing market is experiencing a race for space with buyers searching for more floor space and access to a garden or outdoor area.
The interactive map allows users to compare property sizes in their area against the national average.
Shifting housing preferences are “continuing to drive activity, with people reassessing their needs in the wake of the pandemic,” said Robert Gardner, Chief Economist at Nationwide.
Jo Shepherd, Chief Marketing Office, Groupe Atlantic said: “We have all had to rethink how we use our homes and living space in the last twelve months. The interactive map gives people the opportunity to explore which regions offer the most living space and how their home compares.”
UK house prices have continued to rise, increasing 13.4% in the year to June, the fastest increase in fourteen years. Figures released by Nationwide show that the average house price is now £245,432 an increase of over £29k in twelve months.
