Tangerine Partnership doubles the size of its creative team

Employee-owned creative comms agency, Tangerine Partnership, has more than doubled the size of its multi award-winning creative team from 7 to 16, with a flurry of new hires in the past year.

The move is part of a programme of investment across the agency, which has expanded its team to 85 people during a period of significant growth, despite the difficult market conditions of the past 18 months.

Sam Gregory, Joint MD, said: “We’ve completely restructured our agency over the past couple of years to capitalise on emerging communications trends and technologies. For example, we’ve seen huge amounts of success since setting up a ‘round the clock’, always on social media offering. We use behavioural insights and strategic thinking to make sure our clients are speaking to their audiences when they will have the biggest impact. On point creative is an essential part of getting this right and we have raised the bar again with this latest injection of talent.”

The team most recently made headlines with its notable support of the England team at the Euros, on behalf of Specsavers. Its standout, timely response to England’s success in the tournament in the shape of an eyechart inspired ‘it’s coming home’ billboard, has been celebrated across the country.

Sam Gregory added: “We’ve worked extremely hard to build strong relationships with our clients over the years, who trust us to take risks and push creative boundaries, not just with their social media, but across their communications, right from brand and purpose strategy development, through to experiential and media relations activity. This is why brands come to us and investing in our creative team is helping us to take this work to another level. I’m very excited to see where we can go from here.”

As well taking on social media for Specsavers last year, Tangerine added Dunelm and Baxi to its impressive client roster, which also includes, Pizza Hut Restaurants, Jewson and Ideal Standard.

The newly expanded Creative team is headed up by Joint Senior Creative Leads, Sam Swaffield and Martin Kevill, with Laura Perry taking the helm as Head of Creative Operations and Andrew Kaszuba as Art Director, overseeing the Studio.
