Technology Firm ION, launches new office in London

Newcastle based technology firm ION is launching a new office in London to better support their growing customer base in the South East.

ION delivers business and financial transformation through the application of the world’s leading technology solutions. Having seen a rise in demand for flexible and remote cloud-based solutions, ION has been working with businesses to unleash cloud accounting, billing, revenue, and integrated CRM systems to improve automation and drive business growth.

Following rapid growth over the last 12 months, ION has expanded its clients in the technology, SaaS, financial and professional service sectors, with the new office location positioned to support this customer base.

Managing Director, Rob Mathieson commented: “The last year has thrown up several new challenges for businesses and this is driving demand for cloud solutions which improves efficiency, remote accessibility, and helps maximise business opportunities. With a growing customer base in London and the South East, this new location will enable us to get closer to and better support our customers and partners in the region.”

In addition to supporting customers, ION also hopes to expand its recruitment within the region, capitalising on the finance and technology skills market in the capital. Spearheaded by a brand-new Head of Sales for London, Jack Clark, ION will be looking to add to hires made earlier this year.

“In the North-East we have a strong skills network largely driven by the Sage HQ in Newcastle. Now with the appointment of Jack and other new hires in the region, we are aligning with the London skills market driven by some of our other partners including Salesforce and FinancialForce.”
