MAC Construction Consultants appoints new Director following strong year
Richard Bellis joins to lead firm’s Manchester team
National construction firm MAC Construction Consultants has further bolstered its senior management team with the appointment of Director Richard Bellis.
Bringing more than 18 years’ experience to the role, Richard joins the firm’s Cost and Project Management team and will lead its Manchester-based team.
Working for SME and international PLC consultancies, he has an extensive and varied background which spans most construction sectors. He has particular expertise in the delivery of cost and project management services for private developers in the industrial and commercial arenas.
Richard’s appointment follows a strong year for the business, which has continued to secure major private and public sector contracts throughout the pandemic.
Commenting on his new role Richard said: “In recent years MAC has positioned itself as a true market leader in the delivery of major public and private sector developments.
“The team has dealt with the challenges presented by the pandemic head on and have demonstrated an unwavering dedication and commitment to acting in the best interests of their clients and going above and beyond during what has been a difficult year for many.
“The role with MAC represents a new and exciting challenge for me, and I am looking forward to working alongside and adding value to the Manchester team – and those further afield – over the coming months.”
MAC Director, Yusoff Ghaznavi, added: “2020 was a particularly strong year for MAC despite all of the challenges brought about by the pandemic, and to date 2021 has continued on the same upward trajectory.
“Richard’s appointment reflects our sustainable growth plan, driven by strong relationships from both new clients and our strong record of repeat business. His appointment is also indicative of our commitment to building a national network of highly experienced and dedicated construction professionals.
“We’re delighted to be welcoming him to the team and very much looking forward to working alongside him on some of the ambitious projects that we are currently overseeing across the country.”
