Durham lighting specialist announces London expansion with new bases
A North East lighting manufacturer has announced that it is expanding with a new London base.
Artech Lighting, based in Durham, has opened new bases in Scotland and London after securing new contracts throughout the pandemic.
The new hubs will use the Durham production facilities and will receive support with product design and development, project support, purchasing, sales, marketing, quality systems and centralised accounts.
Stuart Hylton, director of Artech Lighting, commented: “It is a really exciting time for Artech Lighting and I’m delighted to welcome Nathan and Jack to the company.
“Having spent the last three years establishing ourselves in the UK and global marketplace, we are certain this executive team will ignite the next stage of our evolution.
“These hubs are the future of the business. Not only will they allow us to penetrate new markets, they will also help as we expand our manufacturing operations here in the North East, creating more highly skilled jobs at a time when they are most needed.
“As a business, we are committed to helping the UK recover quickly, whether that’s through creating quality new employment opportunities or helping architects and designers save thousands of pounds by buying a quality British product for their projects.
“We need to make sure that 2021 is the year we all buy British and finally shake off the shackles of the Covid-19 pandemic.”
