NG seals deal for world-leading clinical company to move into landmark office building

Commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors have completed a deal to let a landmark 10,000 sq ft head office building in Chesterfield to a world-leading foot orthosis company and a major supplier and distributor of full-body orthotic products.

Talarmade will move on to the prestigious Millennium Business Park, with its chief executive calling Edinburgh House “the perfect choice”.

The company is owned and managed by professionals from the fields of orthotics, podiatry, rehabilitation and physical therapy and produces products that have a positive impact for all its stakeholders, including patients.

Talarmade will use Edinburgh House to house its Management, Finance and Administration functions as well as creating a Training and Education Suite to satisfy customer requirements. The company will also create a clinical facility to allow it to treat patients, and allow product testing and R&D processes for new product projects.

Ian Leddy, CEO of Talarmade, said: “The immediate vicinity to our existing premises made Edinburgh House the perfect and logical solution to our requirements and the design of the building made it the perfect choice.

“The move will allow us to expand our warehouse and distribution operation and increase our manufacturing capacity within our existing facilities. It will also afford us the much needed space to grow and give our staff world class facilities to work from.

“The team at NG have been extremely helpful in aspects of the move, from early viewings and assistance with early renovation planning to getting the deal over the line with minimum fuss.”

Charlotte Steggles of NG added: “Edinburgh House is a high-quality landmark office building and we’re delighted to have secured such a prestigious occupier. Talarmade will create something very special on Millennium Park, and we wish them all the best for the future.

“This deal continues to show that demand for high-end office space remains strong. I’d urge any landlords with a similar portfolio to get in touch.”
