B-Compliant celebrates double award achievement
Two key members of the team at Manchester-based B-Compliant are being recognised for the roles they play in promoting the work of women in the financial services industry.
The financial compliance specialists have been shortlisted in two categories at this year’s Women in Financial Advice awards.
B-Compliant founder, Vicky Pearce, is among 14 finalists in the ‘Woman of the Year - Adviser Support Services’ category, whilst compliance consultant and prolific mentor, Annabel Gray, is in the running for ‘Role Model of the Year’ (small/medium firms).
Winners of the awards, hosted by Professional Adviser and Retirement Planner, will be announced at a special ceremony on October 7 at The Brewery in London. It will celebrate the achievements of women who are helping to inspire others to pursue a career in financial services.
Vicky said: “I am thrilled that both Annabel and I have made the shortlist for these high-profile industry awards and that the efforts we are making to encourage women to fulfil their potential are being recognised. We continue to be an underrepresented minority, but I am determined to smash the perception that only certain people can operate successfully in our field.”
B-Compliant was launched three years ago by Vicky Pearce and focuses specifically on providing support services to small and medium-sized businesses registered with the Financial Conduct Authority. Since its inception, the team has expanded rapidly and helps clients across the UK meet their regulatory obligations.
Vicky has also been shortlisted for Finance Monthly’s Women in Finance Awards 2021 and the winners are due to be announced this month.
