Listed Georgian hotel to relaunch after hospitality group acquisition

A UK hotel management company has announced that it has added a grade two Georgian property to its Yorkshire portfolio.

Vine Hotels has acquired The Old Rectory in Handsworth, a grade two listed stone building on the edge of Sheffield.

The hotel closed last year after the independent charity running it was placed into voluntary liquidation, and will be relaunched in the coming weeks to accommodate events for up to 200 guests.
