North East business park continues to deliver with lettings announcement
A North East business park has announced it has attracted three growing businesses to its client portfolio, having secured two new office lettings and a lease renewal.
Rainton Bridge Business Park in Houghton le Spring is welcoming national housebuilder, Bellway Homes to the park, as well as an undisclosed business and a successful renewal by UK Independent Medical.
Commercial property agents, Knight Frank and CBRE brokered the deals, which have 10-year leases. Ian Blackett of Davison Blackett acted on behalf of Bellway.
Bellway Homes is relocating its headquarters from Darlington to a 7,200 sq ft office at Alexander House to facilitate expansion and to ensure it has a more central location within the North East region.
The undisclosed business is moving into a 10,000 sq ft office on the park and provider of medical reporting services, UK Independent Medical, has renewed its lease for 12,500 sq ft at Brenner House.
Charlie Dunn, head of land, at Bellway Homes said: “Bellway Homes Durham Division are delighted to be moving to Rainton Bridge Business Park.
“Our new office provides us with an excellent modern space that is ideal for our future requirements, as we continue to grow.
“It is located centrally within the region with excellent connections to the A1 and A19. The facilities are of a high standard and we are looking forward to moving in.”
Patrick Matheson from Knight Frank, commented: “Rainton Bridge remains a very popular out-of-town business location. Its excellent position, grade A office space and, in particular, its level of on-site amenities create a fantastic environment for a business and their employees.”
Rainton Bridge Business Park offers Grade A office space over a 22 acre site and is home to over 40 businesses from high growth start-ups, to large corporate occupiers.
