A happy tail: Five star home builder supports Sheffield animal shelter ahead of National Dog Day
Local home builder David Wilson Homes Yorkshire West, has continued to support the communities in which it builds, by donating £500 to the RSPCA Sheffield Animal Centre near it’s Oughtibridge Valley development in Sheffield ahead of National Dog Day on the 26th of August.
To mark National Dog Day and to reflect the furry friend in David Wilson Homes’ logo, the home builder gave a generous donation to the self-funded charity and rescue centre, which will ensure it can continue to care for the many animals in its shelter.
On the donation, Dawn Sampson from RSPCA Sheffield commented: “We are a self funded charity committed to providing a better future for as many animals as possible. We are really grateful to David Wilson Homes for it’s £500 donation, which will make a lasting, positive difference to animals in need.”
Ian Ruthven, Managing Director of David Wilson Homes Yorkshire West said: “David Wilson Homes is dedicated to supporting the communities in which it builds and that includes our four-legged friends, too! We are humbled to see the incredible work being done at the RSPCA Sheffield Animal Centre and are delighted to have been able to support its team in their ongoing mission to care for as many animals as possible.”
Oughtibridge Valley is a brand new development of three and four bedroom homes that combines countryside charm with modern living. Set in a quaint spot of Sheffield, the development boasts fantastic scenery of the River Don and woodlands, excellent amenities and good commuter links to the City Centre and the wider region.
