Growing demand leads to renewed expansion for Yorkshire Windows
LEADING South Yorkshire double glazing company Yorkshire Windows has expanded its workforce as the boom in demand for home improvements continues to soar.
Managing Director Ian Chester says the company is on track to see a 30 per cent increase in turnover.
And as more people postpone holidays and concentrate instead on upgrades to their homes, he says the boom looks set to continue.
“With our expanded work force, we are now working on fulfilling all existing orders as quickly as possible, usually with a waiting period of just 10 weeks,” Ian said.
“It’s a simple case of reacting to market demands but this is now also the time when we have to start thinking about future growth.
“We believe the market will continue to thrive because people are now looking at their homes in a different way as a result of lockdown.
“As well as growing our fitting teams, we will also be expanding our administrative teams too, ensuring a smooth flow from initial enquiry to project completion.”
