Europa Road Announces New Role as part of Team Expansion

The industry leading European road freight team at Europa Road continues to showcase its dedication to supporting customers by introducing the new role of Head of European Operations.

With over 20 years of experience at Europa Road, Rob Bartlett has been promoted to the newly created role to drive forward plans to expand the team, enabling Europa Road to continue to provide first-class customer support post-Brexit.

Europa Road is the European roadfreight division of independent logistics firm Europa Worldwide Group, with a UK network of 13 offices which trunk into Europa’s Dartford 1Hub, where freight connects with daily, direct services to 30 continental hubs, transporting over 45,000 consignments per month with over 2,000 collections and deliveries every day.

Europa Road has seen significant success following the introduction of its new unique solution, Europa Flow - its Non-Network Export DDP Process - allowing shipments to move quickly and efficiently between the EU and UK with minimal delays.

In his new role, Rob will be utilising his experience as a General Manager across various markets on the Europa Road team to work closely with its European partners as well as overseeing general operations to ensure transit times are met.

He said: “I feel very honoured to be taking on this new role in the team, this is a very exciting time for Europa Road as we continue to expand and grow. I look forward to using my many years of experience within the business to help progress the team and build even stronger relationships with our customers, providing them with an excellent service.”

The promotion is part of the internal operational restructure that is underway at Europa Road to ensure customers are supported now the transition period has passed. As part of this, Europa is currently recruiting for additional Market Managers for its Dartford team.

Europa Worldwide Group is an ambitious independent logistics operator with six divisions – Europa Road, Europa Air & Sea, Europa Showfreight, Europa Warehouse, Europa Contact Centre and Continental Cargo Carriers. Europa was recently featured in The Sunday Times Top Track 250 for the third time.
