Truck dealer invests in new recruit for Isuzu brand
As the dealership continues to expand, pioneering East Midlands dealer RH Commercial Vehicles (RHCV) is investing further in commercial vehicle manufacturer Isuzu UK.
RHCV’s became an Isuzu dealer in Northampton in the autumn of 2020 and its partnership with the brand was further expanded when RHCV’s new Newark facility became the second full dealer point for the Isuzu truck marque in May this year.
RH Commercial Vehicles whose headquarters is on Blenheim Industrial in Bulwell (Nottingham) has expanded from four (Nottingham, Leicester, Alfreton and Northampton) to six sites this year – and employs a team of 140.
Strategically located across the East Midlands RHCV and having grown from four to six sites this year RHCV is one of the largest independent Renault Trucks dealers in the country.
Founded in 1916, Isuzu’s mission is to become the global leader in commercial vehicles. In some countries Isuzu’s products make up nearly half the sales of the entire truck market.
To further support RHCV’s relationship and support continued growth with the Isuzu brand, Josh Burns has been appointed as dedicated Isuzu Sales Executive to cover the Lincolnshire and North Nottinghamshire territory. Josh joins with three years’ experience in sales support and customer account management, and he will work together with Jim McNeil, who covers the Isuzu Northamptonshire region, together with parts of Cambridgeshire.
Josh is responsible for the full portfolio of Isuzu Truck services at RHCV services including sales, customer service and aftersales, as RHCV offers a full technical workshop facility.
Nigel Baxter, Managing Director at RHCV comments: “I’m really pleased to welcome Josh Burns to the company as Isuzu Sales Executive, working from Newark (Tuxford) and covering our new sales and repair territory there. We have a great relationship with Isuzu Truck UK, and the build quality of its product range provides a great offer to customers.”
“Josh joins at a crucial time as the economy bounces back post lockdown. The Isuzu offer is perfect for many niche sectors – such as the building trade who are experiencing huge growth.”
Josh adds “I am delighted to have joined the RHCV family at a really exciting time for the business and Isuzu. Isuzu specialise in the lighter end of the truck market, in particular at 7.5 tonne and 3.5 tonne and these products complement RHCV’s current Renault Trucks offer.”
RHCV has a successful track-record of selling, leasing, servicing and repairing heavy (HGV) and light commercial (LCV) vehicles across the East Midlands and employs over 140 staff. The business also provides a comprehensive range of rental/lease options through sister company, RH Rentals.
RHCV has been selling, leasing, servicing, and repairing heavy (HGV) and light commercial (LCV) vehicles across the East Midlands for over four decades.
