Crazy golf brand 'putts' down roots in the North East with new venue
A UK crazy golf brand has announced that it will be opening its first North East venue before the end of this year.
Junkyard Golf Club, which currently has five sites - in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, London and Oxford - will open a Newcastle venue this winter.
The new site, on Newgate Street, will feature three bars as well as its golf courses and is currently recruiting for new staff ahead of its opening in November.
Sophie-Larissa Houghton, national PR and events manager of Junkyard Golf Club, said: “Newcastle is a mega city. It has such a bold personality; it has such a buzz. We are honored and so excited to become a part of it.
“We are in the process of planning our best ever Junkyard launch party. We want to hit the city with a massive bang and bring the party. It’s what Junkyard Golf Club is all about!
We are now recruiting staff for various roles and are super excited to work with PR agency Twist to welcome everyone into our sixth UK site!“
