Oxford businessman strikes gold for customer satisfaction
Oven valeting firm, Ovenu Oxford, has received the highest possible honour in the inaugural Trustist awards, in recognition of its outstanding customer service. The business, run by Steve Archibald, picked up a gold award after attracting a clean sweep of maximum five-star reviews on the online customer ratings platform. For Steve, who has run the business since 2002, the accolade reflects his own high standards and attention to detail. He said: “The business is founded on delivering a great service and there is no higher praise than from those that matter most, my clients. “It’s an honour be recognised by Trustist in its Top Performing Franchisee category. I’d really like to say a big thank you to my clients because this award would not have been possible without their positive feedback.” Nigel Apperley, chief executive of Trustist, said: “It is important to recognise that individual franchisees like Steve play a huge part in building a good reputation for an overall brand.” Rik Hellewell, the founder and managing director of Ovenu, added: “Customer satisfaction is of paramount importance. “These awards are testament to the fact that Steve provides a service that people trust, and I’m proud of the top-class work and excellent customer service he delivers on a daily basis. This award is confirmation of that.” Ovenu Oxford continues to accept bookings at its discretion, with the strict stipulation that both parties observe a two-metre social distancing rule, along with guidelines on hygiene and cleanliness. As well as Oxford, the business covers Chipping Norton, Cumnor, Kidlington, Wheatley, Woodstock, and surrounding areas. The Ovenu valeting process involves dismantling key components of an oven such as the door, interior panels, fan, and shelves and placing them into design-registered tank equipment, which uses safe, non-caustic products to clean the oven parts’ leaving it in near showroom condition.
