Soho Japanese restaurant expands internationally with new San Francisco site
A Soho restaurant has announced that it is opening up a new sister location as well as three international venues.
Chotto Matte, which specialises in Japanese cuisine, has announced that in 2022 it will expand into Doha, Riyadh and San Francisco, as well as opening a second location in London.
The new London site will be opening in Marylebone Village in January 2022, with the other sites opening throughout the year.
The Doha and Riyadh sites will be franchised, and the San Francisco site is set to be one of the few open-air rooftop dining terraces in the city.
Kurt Zdesar, founder of Chotto Matte, commented: “We are delighted to continue our expansion plans for Chotto Matte internationally.
“We cannot wait for the new phase of growth to allow more people to experience the very best of authentic innovative Nikkei cuisine, in stylish architectural spaces across the globe.”
