"Dragons' Den meets TikTok" app launches new funding round for expansion
A UK proptech app has announced that it is launching a second round of funding to develop and launch its next phase across the UK and internationally.
The Eighth Door, which is a real time pitching app based in Harrogate and London, describes its second phase as “Dragons’ Den meets TikTok”, with users presenting their ideas in 30-second elevator pitches.
The new funding round is launching on Seedrs, aimed at leaders in the property industry who want to connect with entrepreneurs and fresh ideas.
Andre Mansoori-Dara, founder of The Eighth Door, commented: “We have listened to our users’ feedback on what they want from the app to increase their business potential and we are incredibly excited to bring these innovative new features, which will exceed their expectations.
“We have taken our ethos of helping users discover and reach out to the property industry and close deals, catapulting our app to the next level. Our main aim is to empower our community to pitch, engage, meet and ultimately strike deals. But it’s not just about sales.
“We also provide support for users with their requirements and opportunities eg investors looking for their next purchase; developers searching for new sites; sourcing construction companies; and connecting with architects and interior designers etc.
“The app integrates with existing social networks and therefore exposes users to their global reach, whilst offering key features relevant to the property industry, such as filters, ranks, prospecting and deal tracking.
“Users can stay up to date with demand for their services, opportunities or requirements through their dashboard and can easily target interested parties to discuss, share and conduct business. The fast paced world of property and technology, is now available at our fingertips.”
