Agency ‘thrives’ as it reaches 10 year milestone
North West creative agency, Thrive, is celebrating over a decade of creating impactful campaigns and memorable ideas for ambitious brands and high street names as it announces a number of new client wins including Digital Cheshire and Keep Wales Tidy. With a team of 15 and over 100 clients the agency has seen double digit growth in turnover year on year.
Co-founder Dave Powell comments: “We actually launched the agency in 2010 but given the challenges of the last year and a half, haven’t yet had the opportunity to celebrate our decade of delivering great work that works for our clients, some of whom have been with us since day one.”
Collaborating with clients across the manufacturing, construction, retail, education, charity and public sectors Thrive was also involved in running a high-profile worldwide competition to win a personalised Bentley Continental GB for Bentley’s charity of the year Care2Save, a charity that offers to help raise money for hospice and palliative care.
Dave adds: “Running such a worldwide competition – with the aim of raising a six-figure sum – was quite a task. Not to mention promoting a sister campaign for a Bentley customised by renowned artist Sir Peter Blake, to be auctioned to serious auto collectors.
We rose to the challenge and created two fundraising sub-brands ‘Bentley by Me’ and ‘Bentley by Blake’. Through our multi-channel campaign Bentley raised £400,000 for hospice and palliative care. So, while we had one very surprised Bentley by Me winner, the ultimate winners were the people receiving care.“
Current clients include Iceland Foods, Air Products, Manchester Metropolitan University, Keele University, Glenigan and Earthborn Paints; to name just a few. The agency has set its sights on further growth boosted by recent wins including a placemaking campaign for We Are Staffordshire and B2B demand generation across various areas of Air Products’ business.
Dave concludes: “It’s certainly been an interesting decade, full of blood, sweat and plenty of cheers! In a recent client survey, 100% of respondents said we’d moved the dial in their business. That’s how we’ve always measured ourselves – so it’s great to hear we’re delivering on our promise of ‘great work that works! Over the last 18-months we’ve found clients increasingly relying on us to help them navigate an increasingly challenging business landscape.”
