Madeira Lodge Care Home Wins At The Kent Care Awards

Well done to Sarah Pennington, registered manager at Madeira Lodge Care Home winner of the Residential Registered Manager Award at the Kent Care Awards 2021.

The award judges were impressed by Sarah’s strength of character and resilience during the Covid-19 pandemic as well as her sheer tenacity to ensure the people Madeira Lodge Care Home supports and cares for get what they need.

Judges applauded her work and had this to say; “Well done and thank you Sarah - the care sector needs more people like you.”

Adam Hutchison, Managing Director at Belmont Healthcare says: “Sarah has worked at Madeira Lodge for 22 years and clearly loves the home. She is an amazing manager and deserves to be recognised for her perseverance, resilience and loyalty to her staff and residents. In spite of a very challenging time during the Covid-19 pandemic, Sarah remained focussed and smiley, her humble and cheery attitude never faltered. We are very proud of her and her amazing work, well done Sarah, you really do deserve this award.
